Big Hollow Kitchen was born on a dirt road in Starksboro, Vermont, named after the place we call home. We're Kelly and Amanda: married, obsessed with breakfast, and lucky enough to live five minutes from some of the best farms in Addison County. It’s really their work that ends up on your plate.

Amanda is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a decade of experience in recipe development, farm work, and food policy. Kelly has been cooking at farm pop-ups and outdoor events for years as a side gig because she loves it. Put us together and you get Big Hollow Kitchen: a Blackstone griddle, a pop up tent, and a whole lot of enthusiasm for a really good breakfast sandwich!

We do farmers markets because we love our community and the people growing food in it. We do bridal breakfasts (and bachelor/ettes and bridal showers!) because we love love, and we think everyone deserves a hot meal on the morning of the best day of their life. We're not trying to be fancy. We just want to show up, cook something delicious, and leave you smiling.
